About this deal
Nàdurra – meaning “natural” in Gaelic – is the closest many of us will get to an entirely pure tasting experience – short of actually visiting the distillery itself. Your continued use of the Service after any such changes or updates take effect will constitute acknowledgement and (as applicable) acceptance of those changes or updates. In the event of any safety concerns or for any other information about a product please carefully read any instructions provided on the label or packaging and contact the manufacturer.
The Nàdurra range uses traditional 19th-century production methods to create inventive and original whiskies.Serving suggestion: Drink to your own preference; straight up, in a cocktail, or simply with a drop of water to open the creamy, smooth character. These oak casks, which distillers at The Glenlivet have favoured since the early 1900s, impart hints of creamy vanilla to this wonderfully rich single malt.
I do like the Nadurra 16 and agree it was probably the best of their affordable expressions back in the day. The most bourbon-y Scotches I’ve had, just off the cuff from memory, are the Auchentoshan American Oak, and The Glenrothes Vintage 1995 American Oak. These oak casks, a popular choice of distillers at The Glenlivet since the early 1900s, impart hints of creamy vanilla to this wonderfully rich single malt whisky. To this day, The Glenlivet remains the benchmark that all other Speyside single malts are measured against.
